Basic Rifle Safety & Marksmanship

This course is perfect for the beginner Rifle shooter.  Whether you have some knowledge of firearms or none at all, this course will teach you everything you need to begin your journey as a safe and proficient Rifle shooter.

​

This course is 6 hours long and covers the following topics:

• Basic General Safety Rules & Fundamentals

• Rifle Nomenclature

• Safe handling of YOUR firearm

• Tear-down & Reassembly of YOUR firearm

• Rifle Functions

• Safely dealing with firearm malfunctions

• Loading, re-loading & unloading of YOUR firearm

• Marksmanship Fundamentals

• Live fire exercise

Cost is $55.00 per student

Each Student will need to bring their own rifle, rifle magazines if mag-fed, 30 rounds of ammunition, Ear & Eye protection, A writing implement & notebook, drinking water.

​

Lunch is one hour and there are a couple of places within 10 minutes drive of the range, but you are welcome to bring your own.

​

Dress in layers appropriate for outdoor activities.  (NO SHORTS)
